We’ve all been there, your friend approaches you with a business opportunity and you’re really thinking about it. Let me tell you, the future of Network marketing is definitely bright. I would absolutely give some thought to joining one, but there are some things you need to be aware of.
If you are after quick money, here and now, do not join a network marketing company. But if you have reasonable expectations and you are willing to spend time and efforts on the journey to climb the career ladder then I am telling you, join by all means.
While a 9.00 am to 5.00 pm job pays bills, joining a scalable business model creates an opportunity to make a life-changing income and lifestyle.
After spending time in this industry, I have learned so many skills that translate to other areas of my life, allowing me to diversify my income. If you’re looking for my best advice to get started, it would be :
- first determine what sector of the industry you want to work in: digital products, SaaS, cryptocurrency, advertising, skincare, nutrition, health products, jewelry, candles, etc. Make sure it’s something you’re interested in, it will make selling it that much easier.
- decide how much time you have to spend working your new business, and be honest with yourself. You can make it happen with only a few hours a week, but you do need to commit to spending some time.
- think how much are you willing to invest short and long term, if the particular MLM/Network Marketing business requires it
- test the waters, do not feel pressured to purchase the biggest package right away, ask what the advantages of the big one are in the beginning or if you can join using the small package and you have products you can test
- pay attention to the communication with a company, can you contact them easily? it’s much easier when you find someone you want to work with
- lastly, I recommend finding a company that has products, values, and people you can identify with.
