These days, it seems like everyone you know is an “entrepreneur”. And while owning your own business is super rewarding and exciting, it is also full of trial and error, good days, and unfortunately, some bad days. But the ones who have got the STUFF it takes are the ones who stick it out when the going gets tough and they’re the same ones that reap all the rewards. Do you have what it takes? Find out now!
You are a problem solver
Just like Vanilla Ice “if there’s a problem, yo I’ll solve it”, problems don’t scare you. They’re merely an opportunity for you to improve something and grow.
You are independent
Working on your own has never been a problem. You know how to find solutions through your own research and by using your resources.
You are motivated
No one needs to drag you out of bed. You do what needs to be done, and you do it well.
You are passionate
Entrepreneurs have enough passion to go around. This passion drives you to create a life you love through achieving your goals.
You have a need to help others
Do you feel a strong desire to aid others by providing a product or service? Consider this as one telltale sign you’re primed for starting a business. This desire to help people enhance their lives can keep you going during the highs and lows of running an operation. It feels good to help others and you’re ready to make a difference.
You want to work for yourself
We’ve all had a boss we can’t stand or protocols we don’t want to follow. When you work for yourself, you can forget all of that, you’re calling the shots now. I was sick of being capped at a certain income while I waited for a promotion. In your own business, your paycheck is directly related to your effort.
You want to build your own team
Does working with like-minded people sound good to you? You can’t rely on someone else to build your perfect team, you can be in control and work with your best friends, family, or mentors.
You want to live on your own schedule
Maybe you’re most productive from 4 a.m. to 9 a.m. or you’re a night owl. Instead of being told which hours to work and when to take breaks or a vacation, you could finally determine your schedule. Work from anywhere, anytime.
You live to learn
You live by the motto “Never Stop Learning”. Some people have just an unquenchable thirst to learn new skills and knowledge. You probably won’t get that from doing the same job for many years. But you can attain that experience as a business owner.
You’re ready to break free
If all of these sound good to you, you may be ready to take the plunge and start your own business. There are lots of things you can do but I’ve found that network marketing has been the most rewarding financially and time-wise.
